M.Teach students please note:

When you subscribe to a listserve, make quite certain that you have your e-mail disk has been configured so that YOU are the sender. It has happened that students have subscribed to a listserve from a disk belonging to another student or from a disk with the site administrator as the sender. This can cause considerable problems.

Another strong recommedation is to set your registration to 'digest'. When you subscribe to a List you will get back a set of notes. Please read these carefully. If you do not understand the notes, seek assistance.

As listserves download e-mail to your disk and this can happen relentlessly if the list is active, it can be better to use News Groups rather than Lists.
