Catherine

Hi, When Planning my plot. What do u suggest would be more effective keeping the settings as they are or changing the setting etc to a more modern idea. I know i'm not supposed to change the plot but i could modify the setting etc with keeping the plot the same.

Catherine, I think that changing the play to a more modern era is a good way to give insight into the characters' personalities and the theme of the play. By taking a play from its original setting, the issues of the play can become more obvious and understandable. Modernizing a play can also show how some of its issues are still relevant to today's society.
