I'm thinking of casting Cate Blanchett in my play as the leading role of Lady MacBeth... what do you think? Cate Blanchett has starred in ' Elizabeth' which was set in Shakespearean times and was hugely popular in that role and in my opinion, played it well. She may have even won an academy award for her performance, suggesting that she is capable of playing such historic and strong characters, which Lady MacBeth definately is! I do not have many ideas for the part of MacBeth... any suggestions?
