Actor choice

I have been considering the actors i would be using in my recent film production of Macbeth and have quiered on this thought for a while. I was wondering if anybody would be able to help, or give me a few ideas. For the main role of Macbeth i wanted a person with a gaunt looking face, that has a mean but powerful look. Jim Carrey was my first pick but, i am a bit weary of using him as he has played many comical roles before and i am not sure the people watching this film would take him serioulsy. Lady Macbeth on the other hand, is another story. In the book she portrays a woman that uses her beauty to capture other people. I want her to be powerful, but also beautiful. I want Lady Macbeth to seem like the holder of the house. Thanks for reading this, i will consider any of your requests. Tamara
