Actor choice

I have been considering my actors for my recent production of Macbeth and have come across a problem. I was wondering if anybody would be able to help or give me any ideas. For the actor to play Macbeth i wanted a man with a ganut looking face, but also a man that was inferior to his wife. I was pondering on the thought of using Jim Carey to play macbeth but, after considering the other films he has been in and the characters in which he has played, i dont think people watching this film would take it seriously.
