the genre of the play

Well, I was thinkin that I could make this film into a thriller-horror-murder kind of film. The play is filled with the supernatural, darkness and has a complicated, yet clever plot. So, I would basically show all the blood and gore to make a box office hit. I think that this would attract massive teen audiences. So, is that pretty good? Any suggestions?
