I've started thinking about who I am going to pick for the leading role of Lady MacBeth. So far, I have come up with Cate Blanchett. Any Suggestions...? Cate Blanchett starred in the highly successful 'Elizabeth' in which she played the leading role. This was set in Shakespearean times which suggests that Cate Blanchett is capable of playing such a character in those times. Queen Elizabeth was an extremely strong character similar to that of Lady MacBeth. Cate Blanchett is also noted for her strong voice and great acting in which she may have one an academy award....what do you think? I have not come up with any ideas of who to cast for the other leading role of MacBeth... any suggestions?
