Macbeth- setting

Kathy

I am having trouble trying to choose a particular setting for where i want to set my film, Macbeth. I am thinking it should be in a more modern type setting, so it interests the audience more than having it in a past setting. It will have to be a more dark and eerie place to create the mood of the play. I am thinking that it should be in type of forest like area and due to be an Australian film, i am thinking the majority of the filming should take place in Australia and also in the studio to create special effects. So i was wondering if anybody has in any ideas to help me and it would be greatly appreciated.
