Give a report on your tutoring here. perhaps two or three paragraphs.Make any comments, ask questions, raise problems. Also, comment on others reports. Return to the page a day or so later and make a response to others comments.A sample report could be as follows: I had my first lesson with Thuy. We started with a chat and talok about what she needed. Although we thought pronunciation she said grammar. We went through some work we had prepared and she asked some difficult questions I couldn't answer such as 'WHat is the difference betwqeen 'coming' and 'going' in English? We then went through the unit 6 on pronunciation very slowly. SHe likes understandiong how and why but it is hard to get her to practicse things. What do you suggest?

Hi all...
Does anybody (especially you TESOL/English teachers out there!) know of a good resource that teaches the deconstruction of texts, loking at tone, mode, timbre - all that kind of stuff? Also, given the analysis of graphics on the new English HSC, are there any recommended resources for English teachers teaching responses to imagery?
Looking forward to a barage of responses(!!)
