Is time like a supernatural number?

The future (or the past) seems like a lot like a proof that can never be reached. Hoping someone can clue me in on how supernatural numbers are indexed. The indexing seems to weird to be isomorphic to time, why?

Check out Rudy Rucker's "Infinity and the Mind", in the chapter on The Unnameable he discusses Generalized Exponentials and how they are indexed. H(i,j,k,...)
