mapping and navigation stupid problem

Ok... We have this map, and we have to plot a course with a max of 3 courses. We have to be more than 2 nm away from rocks etc. That's all fine. But we also have to give the true bearing, compass bearing and distance along each course. This map has no compass rose, only the information that there is a variation of 13 degrees west. Do I have to draw my own compass rose, or is there an easier way?
