Ten students sit an exam which has a maxinum score of 100. The average of the ten scores achived by the students in the exam was 92. What is the minimum mark a student could have scored? A. 20 B. 90 C. 92 D. 40 E. 0

A. 20 because if one student gets 20 and all the rest get 100, the average will be 92. so, (9x100+20)=92 it's quite simple really

Angie... I don't know. Technically, couldn't any number work? That is, if everyone had a different score.
