HEY PEOPLES! OR SHOULD I SAY YOU MATHS genius's out there... these are probably relatively easy questions, but i can't seem to get them out. here goes: 1) if z=i is a root of f(z)= z^3 + az^2 + bz + 2 + 2i find the real numbers a and b. 2) a)find a quadratic which has the roots 3+or- 2i and a constant term of -26. using technology what is the maximum value of this quadtratic and what simple translation is required so that the quadtratic will have at least one real root. my email is tini05@hotmail.com cheers b)if the quadtratic equation from part (a) is reflected through its vertex what will be the roots of the new quadratic?
