The curriculum areas (teaching methods) which may be available in the Master of Teaching and Bachelor of Teaching courses (subject to sufficient enrolments to form a class in individual teaching methods), are as follows:

All students undertake studies in each of the six Key Learning Areas (KLAs) in the primary curriculum:
  • Creative arts
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science and Technology
  • Human Society and its Environment (HSIE)
  • Personal development, health education and physical education (PDHPE)

Go to the section Secondary curriculum

Students enrol in two single teaching methods (curriculum areas) or one double method from:
  • Art (Single or Double)
  • Commerce/Economics
  • Computer Studies
  • Drama
  • English
  • Geography
  • History
  • Mathematics (Single or Double)
  • Music (Single or Double)
  • Science (Single or Double)
  • Social Studies
  • Technological and Applied Studies (Single or Double)
  • Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages
  • Languages other than English (One or Two languages):
