Assessment Tasks

You have a teaching and learning resource folder assessment that is due for this course. An assessment task

All of these elements of the resource folder will be due in the last session ( Week 4 ) of the seminars

Mini-Pip proposal

Each student will choose an original topic of a kind comparable with the Personal Interest Project done by students for the HSC and undertake an exercise in research and reporting which will naturally be limited by the time available. A proposal of about 200words will be handed in noting methodologies, central material and resources. This report will be modelled on the PIP requirements. It should include the major PIP components of an Introduction, Central Material, Conclusion and Annotated Resource List (the resource list does not count as part of the word limit)

Introduction

Approx 250 word covering all the requirements of a normal Pip Introduction

Central Material

The main ideas of your Pip. It must include a cross-cultural component and a summation of your methodologies. It may be sub divided into sections based around the themes of your topic. (Do not: have sections based on methodologies or one section entitles "cross cultural component")

Conclusion

Covering what you will learn from the personal interest project. i.e. about your topic, concepts, about yourself, research methodologies, your social and cultural literacy, your society etc.

Annotated Resource List Textbook Evaluation
