The Pauline Hanson Debate contiunes . . .

The following is Jeff Hill's comment on Pauline Hanson's maiden speech which he posted on the internet. I reproduce it here without alteration.

I can only hope it is tongue in cheek:

"In her maiden speech to the Australian Federal Parliament, Member for Oxley Ms Pauline Hanson has delivered a message which echoes the feelings of most Australians."

Ms Pauline Hanson's outstanding demands

  • Repeal of the Family Law Act.
  • Abolition of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission.
  • Abolition of the Native Title Tribunal.
  • Abolition of the Council for Reconciliation.
  • An immediate short-term end to Asian immigration.
  • An end to the Howard Government's "kow-towing" to international markets and bankers.
  • A review of Australia's membership and funding of the United Nations.
  • A short-term end to all international aid.
  • The abolition of multiculturalism.
  • The introduction of compulsory national service.

What Pauline Hanson should also have mentioned

  • Abolition of all unearned income.
  • Jailing of lawyers, barristers, counsels and similar trash who intentionally misrepresent the truth or rely on technicalities when representing a client for an equal term as their client, if their client is found guilty.
  • Immediate deportment of all immigrants henceforth who commit any but the least significant of crimes, and, in the event that the deportee is a breadwinner, deportment of all his dependents also to prevent abuse of our social services.
  • A tripling of most pensions and entitlements, especially war-service and war-widow pensions, and old-age pensions (if the pensioner can prove a useful work record). Severe scrutiny of "disability" pensions.
  • Introduction of a work record card.
  • Deportation of politicians and bureaucrats who inhibit worthwhile change by bleating that "the issues are too complex", "change is too hard" and so on when it is apparent that there are often simple answers to today's problems (the simple answers in Pauline Hanson's speech would go much of the way in making Australia the RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, rather than the stupid country that people of other countries laugh at).
  • A large increase in the powers of the police to bust up street gangs, and full protection for police who might for example harmlessly "slap a wayward kid behind the fence and tell him to change his ways or else."
  • No bid for the gay Olympic Games!
  • Payment of a bounty hunter $100,000 to return Skase to Australia within a month.
  • Introduction of an Australian identification card (doubtlessly digitally including the work record card).
  • Correction of Australia's taxation system.
  • Isolation to an island of all people who are suffering from HIV and AIDS aquired in any way other than blood transfusion, and similar isolation of anyone practising lifestyles contrary to nature which put them in greater risk of acquiring same.
  • Isolation to an island of all people who are suffering from severe schizophrenia and paranoia NOW (Martin Bryant, the Tasmanian beast with the record of "greatest civilian mass murderer", and the imbecile who set fire to a six-year old boy in Queensland both had records of severe mental illness and should have been isolated from healthy men, women and children, together with any trendy doctor and do-gooder who sought their freedom.
  • Strict laws, policed by a tribunal of financial editors from the five best selling newspapers and the five best rating financial and business television shows, abolishing the shameless practice (often practiced by the Australian Labour Party, the Democrats and the Greens) of telling atrocious lies at election time.
  • Total support for selected industries, for example, the automobile industry (resulting in a 100 % high quality Australian-made car within three years).
  • Manipulation of our tariff system to protect Australian industries.
  • A "clean slate" for most Australians with police records, but henceforth very strict penalties for all law breakers, including committers of "victimless" crimes like drug abuse, vandalism, car theft and grafitti, invariably including labour such as cleaning trains, buses and streets, hard labour such as building roads with picks and shovels on a chain-gang, and capital punishment in public.
  • A policy of full employment for all Australian male breadwinners within three years.
  • Abolition of same-sex marriages and education in schools regarding alternative lifestyles.
  • Coordination of all Australians, unions and organisations for the common good.
  • Mandatory abortions on instruction of a panel of doctors' of foetuses who would lead unproductive lives if allowed to live.
  • Education and persuasion of Australians against morally bankrupt traditional superstitions and theologies (three outstanding examples are judaism, christianity and islam).
